Colophon
Made with restraint.
The site is a small expression of the same care we put into our products.
01 The page
02 The design
The mark is four bars, parted by a wider space at the centre. That small pause runs through the visual system: generous type, measured spacing and a turn from paper to ink.
03 The type
Fraunces gives the large words their character. Karla keeps the smaller ones direct. Both fonts are included under the SIL Open Font License, version 1.1.
04 What stays out
No stock photography, tracking script or decorative motion needs to stand between a reader and the work. The products are the story.
